BigVoice™ Intercom is a Multi-Station Intercom system for general use in elevators and market leading system for evacuation purposes.
It is designed to meet BS5588 Part 12, it provides clear voice communication between any two of thirty-two stations.
Continual line monitoring in the background ensures that even when idle it's still ready for use.
BigVoice™ comes in a variety of architectural finishes to suit your site, with either flush or surface mount housings.
• Wiring Is 'Free Topology'. Using Echelon™ LonWorks™ protocol the layout's flexible, with only 4 wires needed for each unit.
• Clear & Simple. Essential in an emergency, BigVoice™ LCD screen shows Caller ID and location on each station.
• Speech is collected via a sensitive microphone and digitised for transmission. Even a soft voice 2 metres away is clearly heard so BigVoice™ can be installed in the car ceiling.
• “Hands Free” conversation controlled by “Press to Call” button on the Master.
• Multiple calls made are displayed in a queue and prioritised.
• Menu Functions Protected. The user has a “Security Pass Code” to action system functions.
• Range of tones differentiates between the types of call.
• Handshaking “System Idle Mode” checks in the background to ensure the system will work when it is needed. Any fault detected are reported with an alarm.
• Battery Back Up option as a safeguard fitted anywhere on the system. Warning tones alert low battery and mains failure conditions.
• Extra stations are easily added, so expansion of the system in the future is a simple task
BigVoice™ smaller cousin LittleVoice™ provides a simple hybrid visual/voice option for evacuation applications or as a compact Fire Fighting Lift Intercom.
In a variety of architectural fixtures to suit your job Choose either flush and surface mounted housings. Or something customised to suit your specific needs in exotic materials or complete with special engraving, braille or company logos. Just ask for a quote.
LittleVoice™ meets the requirements of a Fire Fighting Lift but is not restricted to this use and is found as a simple lift intercom for point-to-point, such as the lift car to a Warden's Office, the Building's Reception or a Security Desk.
It's also handy to have available for contractors to use during routine maintenance; it can save hours of time on site struggling with poor reception on a mobile or walky talky, or walking up flights of stairs.
